The devil is partial temporary! It’s finally back for its second season after nearly ten years, and the release of new episodes has been set with a new trailer and poster special! The first season debuted nearly a decade ago, and since then he’s become one of many anime fans who have given up all hope of seeing a second season. Fortunately, that long wait will soon be over as the series has been picked by a new studio to return for new episodes as part of the new anime wave that’s igniting the summer 2022 anime season.
The devil is partial temporary! She confirmed that she will be releasing Season 2 in Japan on July 14, and to celebrate, she debuted a new poster and trailer. Interestingly enough, the series will air with Disney+ in Japan this summer, but it has yet to reveal an international license as of this writing. If that’s the case for other territories as well, it may be a while before fans outside of Japan can see this new season for themselves. The devil is partial temporary! It will feature a new director and studio from Season 1 with Director Daisuke Tsukushi at Studio 3 Hz. Yudai Iino has replaced Atsushi Ikariya as the character designer for the new season, but the original script supervisor, composer, and a few other staff members return from Season 1. Minami Kuribayashi also returns from season one to perform the opening theme for season two, “WITH”.
New additions to the cast for season two include Hina Kino as Alas Ramos, Kikoko Inoue as Layla, Takehito Koyasu as Gabriel, Yoko Kaeda as Amane Ogoru, and Kenichi Ogata as Kamio. They will join the returning faces from Season 1 including Ryota Ohsaka as the Devil King, Yuko Hikasa as the heroine Emilia, Nao Toyama as Chiho Sasaki, Yuki Ono as Demon General Alsel, and Hiro Shimono as Lucifer’s Demon General, Kanai. Ito as Suzuno Kamazuki, Asuka Nishi as Rika Suzuki, Yumi Oshiyama as Mayumi Kisaki, Azumi Asakura as Emirada, and Yuichi Iguchi as Mitsuki Saru.
